Ross and Mack have been butting heads in recent episodes

Emmerdale fans are predicting a showdown between two major characters as a number of different plotlines come to a head.

In the latest episode of the show, Mack was seen counting out the money he had previously stolen from Jade when Ross came to visit. Mack hid the money and Ross began to ask about taking Moses out for something to eat.

Mack said Moses was out at a birthday party, and Ross asked Mack to give Moses some money from him. Immediately, Mack began to mock Ross over the small amount, saying that he was going to make sure that Moses got lots of Christmas presents from him to make up for it. Ross was visibly annoyed but left.

Later Mack was seen buying loads of Christmas presents for Charity, most likely with the stolen money, and sending money to his son Reuben. Jade also visited the village, threatening Ross and demanding that he find out which one of his friends stole the money.

Now, fans predict the two characters are destined for conflict.

Another fan, @ShakyWoon, wrote: “Mack gives the money to Amy to give to Chloe and Reuben…and Ross is about to pay the price”. @kylieskaty then said: “Mackenzie – continuing to show off acting like he’s dad of the year jealous, insecure and threatened by Ross”.
