A relationship may be in trouble in Coronation Street as one character finds their new beau’s behaviour disturbing.
Fans of the ITV soap have been wondering if Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) will become an official item, but recent scenes appeared to suggest otherwise.
When Kit assisted Daisy with putting the angel on top of the Rovers Christmas tree, he asked her to accompany him on a date in return.
It didn’t take much persuasion for Daisy to agree, though when the pair headed out, things took a turn for the worse when they were confronted by Max Turner (Paddy Bever).
He was quick to remind Kit of the situation Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) was in, pointing out that it was her birthday and she was likely having a miserable time.
Viewers will know that Lauren is currently in prison after being charged with murdering Joel Deering (Calum Lill).
Lauren hit him over the head with a rock, killing him instantly, when she found him attempting to strangle Max to death.
When Kit coldly told Max he was just doing his job, and showed little empathy for the young mum, Daisy was unimpressed – especially when he turned on the charm with her as Max left.
After their meal at the Bistro, Kit invited Daisy back to his place, but she politely declined the offer, still clearly put-off by how he’d handled the situation with Max.
Instead, she headed home alone to enjoy a good book.
