The Bethany Platt actress and her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their second child
Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has shared a sweet update with her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson as they eagerly await the arrival of their second child.
The actress, famed for playing Bethany Platt in the ITV soap, and Preston North End star Ryan announced over the summer that they were expecting baby number two with an adorable that featured their first child, son Sonny Jude.
In a video posted to both of their Instagram accounts, the couple are seen playing with their baby Sonny at their home. The video then switches to Lucy rubbing her burgeoning baby bump. Sonny is then seen playing with the sonography images of his new sibling. Bethany Platt star Lucy also shared a close up of the new baby’s scan image, as well as holding up her positive pregnancy test.
Announcing the surprise news, she captioned the video: “Half way there”. Lucy and Ryan later confirmed they were set to welcomed a baby girl into their growing family.
Now, Lucy has shared a sweet photo of herself and Ryan snapped off-the-cuff at her baby shower when she was pregnant with Sonny. The soap star was glowing as she sporting a bedazzled gown alongside her partner who looked smart in a shirt and blazer.
Captioning the post on her Instagram Story, Lucy wrote: “Mom n dad,” alongside a hands creating a heart emoji. She then sweetly added: “Baby shower 2 years ago and we are about to have another,” alongside a pink bow emoji.
It comes after Lucy recently appeared to have been thinking about the reality of having two children. Sharing a photo from Sonny’s first Easter when he was a baby, in which she could be seen looking at something in surprise, she wrote on her Instagram Story: “Can’t believe that I will be responsible for 2 of these. 2023 me can’t believe it either.”
Lucy will soon be taking break from the cobbles as she heads on maternity leave. The 29-year-old has still been very much busy on the cobbles after confirming she’ll won’t be away from her role ‘for too long’. She confirmed shortly after her pregnancy news in a pot on Instagram: “I am returning after I pop the baby out xx.”
