One Coronation Street fan favourite has announced his latest career move, as he acquired a ‘normal job’ following his exit and axe from the Cobbles earlier this year
Coronation Street star Luca Toolan, who played Mason Radcliffe in the soap, has revealed he has started a ‘normal job’ just a couple of months after his exit.
Mason, who suffered a troubled life on the Cobbles, had started turning his life around before he was axed and killed off by ITV writers. During a shocking episode, the 21-year-old’s character was stabbed and passed away from the injury. With no chance to come back to the soap, the young star has supposedly started a new career away from the silver screen.

Following an 18-month stint on Coronation Street, Luca has told fans he has found new work as a teacher just weeks on from his departure.
Luca will be running a series of acting classes following his soap fame. In a new video shared to his social media, Luca revealed and advertised his new role.
He said: “I am keeping myself busy as best as possible and I am running some acting classes.
“I am teaching at Bee Rogue Talent so thank you to those guys.

“It is going to be great and we are going to do a lot of script analysis, improvisation, character development and learning and teaching the craft of acting.
“I am super excited.”
But it appears Luca’s latest gig is a stepping stone to his next TV project. Luca, who is the son of radio veteran Mike Toolan, will appear in a new comedy.
The show, named Grass Roots, will see father and son act together in Preston. Adding to this pilot, Loose Women panellist Sheree Murphy will lead the cast as she makes her return to acting after more than seven years.

Mason was killed off during an on-screen stabbing earlier this year
The Bill and Hollyoaks star Kim Tiddy and G’Wed and Good Ship Murder actor Zak Douglas will also be joining the star-studded cast.
In Coronation Street, Mason’s brothers, Matty and Logan, stabbed him using Dylan Wilson’s knife which left him dying on the play park.
Speaking on his exit, Luca took to Instagram to express his gratitude and bid farewell as he said: “Thank you. What an honour and privilege it’s been to be a part of this show, and to be trusted with this story. Truly. I’ve met some of the most incredible friends I’ll cherish for life that have been beyond supportive and loving.
“I’m at a loss for words to quantify what they mean and what this experience has meant to me. Through the highs and the lows Liam, Charlie and Karen been there since day 1.
“I owe them all so much. To the incredible army that makes this show and to the all the supporters of it thank you for making a lads dream come true. Thanks God always You’ve supported me through all. @charliespromisecharity.”
