Coronation Street star Alan Halsall told ‘every single year’ in first social media post after I’m A Celeb stint

The ITV soap’s Tyrone Dobbs actor sent fans wild with his ‘James Bond’ appearance

Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has shared his first social media post since his return to the UK after his I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here stint – and the update hasn’t come as a surprise to some.

As fans know, the actor took part in the ITV reality show at the end of last year alongside the likes of Coleen Rooney, Danny Jones, Oti Mabuse, Barry McGuigan and Maura Higgins.

Alan, famed for playing Tyrone Dobbs in Corrie, was among the favourites in camp and was later the seventh campmate to leave the jungle, just behind TikTok star GK Barry, in a double elimination days before the final.

Since then, Alan has been back spending precious time with his daughter, Sienna, and back working on the cobbles, where he has been playing mechanic Tyrone for more than 25 years.

But there’s one thing in the annual calendar that Alan couldn’t miss out, and that was a trip to the races. The soap star has previously been seen using a helicopter to travel between Greater Manchester and the Cheltenham Festival, even being joined by a few recognisable faces along the one.

So this year was no different when he took the plush form of transport on Thursday (March 13) to what is classed as St Patrick’s Thursday at the event.

He was seen departing the helicopter at his destination, and looked dapper sporting a three-piece navy blue suit. Captioning the video, Alan wrote: “Annual slo mo w***er walk … It has to be done [crying laughing emojis] #cheltenham.”

Corrie co-star Colson Smith was quick to respond, writing in the comments: “Every single year.” I’m A Celeb co-star GK, whose name is Grace, also replied: “Here he is,” to which Alan quipped in response: “you have spelt hero wrong silly.”

His fans and followers, meanwhile, were loving the effort. @lee_deakin_1982 said: “Love it mate …… your audition intro for James Bond.” @calliehopkins commented: “Needed the James Bond track.”
