Coronation Street star Sally Carman was quickly flooded with messages from her co-stars and fans as she gave a glimpse at her recent break.
The actress, who is best known for playing Abi Webster in the ITV soap, recently took some time out and headed for Wales with her sharing some pics from the trip on Instagram.
Sally could be seen wrapped up warm in an orange two-tone jacket which she paired with leopard print leggings and wellies as she perched on a wall with a drink and some snacks.
She was also seen enjoying some time on the beach and getting stuck into cooking on a log fire in the great outdoors. Alongside the post, the soap star shared: “Beautiful Wales. Also found new favourite place to eat crisps whilst watching Figgy Pud dig his holes @ty_coch_inn #spotthedog #northwales #outdoors #bitoffresh ( best leggings ever by @moobou ).”
Corrie co-star Georgia Taylor, known best for playing Toyah Habeeb in the ITV soap, was among those to respond, commenting on the post: “You’re so damn cute.” Tina O’Brien, who is famed for playing Sarah Platt, also shared: “I adore you. Ty coch one of my favourite places.”

Meanwhile, Sally was also caught gushing over her pal and fellow Corrie star Vicky Myers. Fans may be aware that the pair are close friends off-screen but are very rarely seen sharing scenes together.
Taking to Instagram, DS Lisa Swain star Vicky marked International Women’s Day last weekend with a series of pictures and wrote on Instagram: “HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY. STRENGTH IN UNITY. ‘Nothing can dim the light which shines from within.’
“‘Each time a woman stands up for herself, she stands up for all women.’ @drmayaangelou. For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”
Sally replied: “Heaven sent you are,” alongside a string of yellow hears emojis as the post featured a picture of her with Vicky and their pal, fellow actress Erin Shanagher.
