Dean Andrews played Will Taylor on the soap before he left the Dales last year
Emmerdale actor Dean Andrews shared laughter with his former co-stars as Natalie Ann Jamieson and Olivia Bromley reunited at the Cheltenham racecourse.
Dean Andrews joined the ITV soap in 2019 to take on the role of Will Taylor. His character met an untimely end as Will died over the Christmas period after suffering from a heart attack on Boxing Day last year.
Will’s exit was unexpected by fans, and the actor took to his Instagram to clear up any speculation that his character could still be alive. He wrote: “Just a quick message from me to thank you all and to quash any rumours regarding my character. Have a wonderful 2025 and hopefully see you on the other side.”
He did admit, however, that he “wasn’t asked” to record a quick goodbye or thank you message like other former Dales residents do when they leave the show.

Before his death, Will was in cahoots with no other than Joe Tate who arrived in the village just before his heart attack. Will had made a deal with Joe as him and Kim Tate were going against each other for revenge.
On Tuesday (March 11), Natalie Ann Jamieson took to her Instagram and posted some snaps of her at the Cheltenham races. Natalie left the Dales last month after her character Amy Wyatt was one of the three confirmed deaths in the limo crash.
In some of the pictures, Natalie can be seen laughing alongside Olivia Bromley who plays Dawn Taylor – making her Dean Andrews’ on-screen daughter. In the caption of the carousel post, Natalie wrote: “Absolutely fantastic day at @thegreenroomexperience @cheltenhamraces today! Thank you for having us”.

Dean Andrews was quick to comment as he penned: “Posh lot you are (laughing emoji)” to which Natalie responded: “that’s what people have said about me since the dawn of time”.
The actor continued to laugh as he replied: “I saw what you did there with the ‘Dawn’ of time”. Earlier on in the day, Natalie posted an Instagram story of Olivia holding multiple betting slips with the caption: “One of these has to win surely?!”
Jonny McPherson also showed up alongside Natalie and Olivia as they posed at the races. Jonny’s character Dr Liam Cavanagh was also involved in the limo crash as he received a head injury during the impact.
Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
