EastEnders’ Nicola and Teddy Mitchell will both be accused of the murder of a missing character next week on the BBC soap according to spoilers, and one cast member has teased all

Two characters face a murder accusation in a killer twist next week on EastEnders.

A murder twist has been confirmed in spoilers, as a relative of a missing character accuses two characters of being behind their presumed death. Viewers know shortly after Harry Mitchell came into the show, it was revealed his ex Shireen had gone missing and was feared dead.

Harry faced accusations of killing her, but next week it’s his mum Nicola and dad Teddy who are accused by missing Shireen’s brother Asad. In fact, Asad tells Harry he believes he is innocent, four years on from his sibling going missing.

But he wastes no time in confronting Nicola and Teddy and accusing them of causing her death – but is he right? It hits a nerve with Harry who soon confronts his father, fearing Teddy is hiding something.

Nicola meanwhile is acting weirdly, and she meets with a mystery newcomer called Benji and demands to know the whereabouts of missing Shireen. But who is Benji and what does he know about what happened to her, and why would Nicola be asking him such a question?

In a chat with Inside Soap magazine, Nicola actress Laura Doddington teased all as she revealed Nicola was hiding a lot of secrets. She teased said lies could soon come to light.

Of the big plot after the accusations, she shared: “It’s the anniversary of Shireen’s disappearance, and Nicola wants to be there for her son. It’s all about nurturing Harry, who is broken.

“Nicola is carrying all these secrets around. She’s watching her son suffer as a consequence, and it’s harder on her than she ever thought it would be. In the coming weeks you will see Nicola pushed to the edge.

“All I’ll say is she will go to any lengths to protect her boys, but equally in doing that she is also protecting herself.” Nicola is hiding a lot from her family right now, including her dodgy dealings and drug selling, as well as the fact Zack Hudson is the biological father of her son Barney Mitchell.

Just this week Zack threatened to expose the truth about Barney, after finding out a few days ago. As a result he suffered a nasty attack as Nicola threatened him and warned him what would happen if he crossed her.

But how long before all of Nicola’s dark secrets come to light? Viewers will have to wait and see!
