Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter praised as she tells fans ‘this is me’ and that they’re ‘not alone’ in candid update

Jorgie Porter has been flooded with messages of support as she gave a candid glimpse into her life as a new busy mum-of-two having welcomed her second child into the world with her partner Oliver Piotrowski in December.

It was in May 2024 that the Hollyoaks actress confirmed her pregnancy in an episode of ITVBe’s ‘Drama Queens’, revealing she and Ollie were due to become parents again after welcoming their son Forest in November 2022.

Shen then confirmed her daughter’s arrival by sharing a picture of her baby girl’s tiny hand to her social media page on on December 11 and said: “She’s here…! We are complete.”

Jorgie, 37, who has since announced her daughter’s name as Peony, also paid tribute to her nurse Sandi Goulding for her support during the birth.

She added: “Thank you to everyone at Wigan hospital. Especially @sandi_goulding who is our everything… couldn’t of asked for a better day. (sic)”

The soap star has since been settling into her new life as a mum-of-two and has taken to social media with a new post to tell other parents they are ‘not alone’.

In a photo shared on Instagram, Jorgie could be seen sitting on the toilet with baby Peony on her lap and Forest taking a seat alongside her. Two dogs also made their way into the small space, with Jorgie seen looking up to the gold-lined mirrors.

Captioning the post, she wrote: “This is me… I posted that picture yesterday looking all glam and whilst I did look like that for a moment, it was just a moment. The reality is this…

“I’ve forgotten what it feels like to pee in peace. If I’m honest I think it’s going to be many many years before that happens again, if ever. Personal space is overrated anyway. The transition to 2 has been a lot. Some days I feel like I’m smashing it, other days not so much.”

Jorgie added: “For anyone else in the thick of it, you’re not alone. More and more I realise us mums are superheroes, so sharing a slice of my reality in case you all thought I had my sh*t together.”

The comments soon came flooding in with many relating to Jorgie’s message. @the_crafty_mutt said; “This is also my life. Two dogs, a baby and a toddler! I think of it as being nice to be loved so much you can’t wee in peace.” @campervan_queen wrote: “If any photo in the world could sum up mum life, this is it!”

@mrsgsp commented: “Show us your a mum of two, without telling us your a mum of two. Motherhood in one picture and your brushed your hair I’d say that was a win.” @staceynorms added: “Ahhh gosh this actually makes me emotional, this was me. The days are long but the years are short, enjoy it where you can girl.”
