Emmerdale viewers think one villager has made a crucial mistake in concealing Anthony’s murder
Emmerdale aired worrying scenes for Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) as she visited her father’s make-shift grave in the woods.
As fans of the ITV soap will know, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) brutally attacked child abuser Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) and thought he had killed him. But it was Anthony’s daughter, and victim, Ruby that delivered the final act that finished him off.
Aaron’s boyfriend John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) protected Aaron by getting rid of the body, but refused to share where evil Anthony had ended up.
Then they found out that Ruby had been the one to kill Anthony, with her husband Caleb Miligan (William Ash) and his half-siblings Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) also drawn into the cover-up.

Knowing he was keeping a huge secret, Chas questioned John’s loyalty, leading a torn Aaron to ask him where he had disposed of the body. John was offended that Aaron didn’t trust him, and Aaron urged his mum to back off.
But then the group were called to meet John at a quiet location in the woods, where John revealed that Anthony was buried in that very spot.
As John insisted that his own motives were pure, he urged them all to unite and stay strong, and they came to an agreement.
On Thursday (February 27), Ruby visited her dad’s grave and let off an outburst of emotions.
Looking down at Anthony’s final resting place, Ruby said: “You deserve something, prison, may be you deserved to die even but an unmarked grave in the woods.”

Moments later, Ruby looked up at the sky and shouted: “You did this to yourself, and I hate that I feel guilty. Everything you did, and you’re the one at peace, and I’m an even bigger mess than I was.”
As Ruby’s anguish spiralled, Cain arrived and encouraged her to keep quiet about Anthony’s murder and to tell her husband, Caleb, about how she was feeling.
However, Emmerdale fans are convinced someone will randomly overhear Ruby shouting at her dad’s grave, and she will be caught for murdering him.

Taking to X, one person wrote: “Ruby will keep going back there until someone hears her and alerts the police.”
A second explained: “Random dog walker hearing Ruby shout ‘YOU DID THIS TO YOURSELF’, ‘what the have I done?!’ #Emmerdale.”
A third chimed in: “I think Ruby’s chances of getting away with killing Anthony are slipping away. #Emmerdale.”
“Ruby will give it away when she starts laying flowers on the grave #Emmerdale”, added another.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV and ITVX
