Emmerdale fans think sinister scenes this week have revealed what’s in store for John Sugden, as another theory could give away the true identity of the mystery Aidan Moore
John Sugden may have been exposed by Emmerdale fans, which could mean there’s danger ahead for residents.
His behaviour this week sparked concern for the safety of Aaron Dingle, and it left fans convinced there was something that was not right about John. Amid speculation he killed Nate Robinson, John found himself having to reveal the location of Anthony Fox’s body. Those involved in the cover-up were threatening to expose their actions, with Chas Dingle and Aaron Dingle contemplating going to the police.
Ruby Miligan had killed her dad Anthony weeks ago but at the time, Aaron thought he was to blame. His partner John got rid of the body and dug a grave in a mystery location, while since then others including Caleb Miligan and Cain Dingle have found themselves part of the cover-up.
On Wednesday John decided to put an end to the drama and tell the group where the body was, taking them to the woods. There was a large tree stump laying on the ground, and John claimed this marked the spot where Anthony was buried.
Viewers do not believe him though, thinking he faked where the body was buried in order to get people off his back. Given how calmly he got rid of Anthony, viewers believe he killed Nate, with him possibly even being Anthony’s real killer.
Amid him fuming at Aaron, fans are now wondering if John has killed before. Amid speculation he’s the next village serial killer, fans recalled the scenes after he first arrived last year with the dog tags, labelled with the name Aidan Moore.
John told his sister Victoria Sugden who Aidan was, revealing that while in the army a bomb had gone off and it killed Aidan, with John unable to save him. John gave an explanation as to why he kept the dog tags, but fans have never been convinced by the story.
With recent developments with Anthony and Nate, fans are now wondering if Aidan is a murder victim of John, and this is why he has the tags. Viewers speculated whether Aidan was John’s first kill, or another victim yet to be revealed.
In a similar theory fans wondered if it was actually John who was dead, and John was in fact Aidan – hence the dog tags. One viewer said online: “I think those dog tags are from someone he killed,” as another fan said: “Perhaps his first kill?”
A third fan posted: “He killed Aidan and that’s why he kept the dog tags.” A fourth viewer posted: “I wonder if John killed Aidan Moore?” as another said: “I’m thinking John might have had something to do with his death? He was way too calm about covering up Anthony’s death.”
Fans also think the scenes of John confronting Aaron were a sign of things to come. A viewer said: “There something dodgy about him, really worried for Aaron and Victoria,” as another said: “Nothing good has ever come from a partner saying ‘I thought you loved me’. Major red flag.”
