Coronation Street’s Cassie Plummer will be left with nothing in new spoilers

Next week on Coronation Street, Cassie Plummer’s sinister scheme against Ken Barlow will come crashing down. Recently, Cassie got cosy as Ken’s carer, even moving into his house.

But in a dark turn of events, she’s been drugging his tea with antihistamines to make him reliant on her. The plot thickened as Cassie started splurging with Ken’s credit card, duping him into believing he’d forgotten about the orders he supposedly placed.

On Wednesday’s episode, Ken caught wind of Cassie’s wicked ways. A dramatic showdown had Ken forcing Cassie to sip the laced tea, only for her to confess about spiking it with antihistamines.

Livid, Ken booted her out. However, following the showdown, Ken collapsed clutching his chest. Thankfully Ken survived the heart attack as he was rushed to hospital as the episode ended with Cassie arrested, reports Lancs Live.

In upcoming episodes, the aftermath of Cassie’s downfall will unfold, with Ken left troubled upon learning that Fiz and Tyrone have kicked her out. When Ken decides not to press charges, citing that Cassie has already lost everything, his daughter Tracy is left stunned.

Meanwhile, Hope convinces Tyrone to meet Cassie for a drink, but it remains to be seen if he can find it in his heart to forgive his mother.
