Emmerdale fans are convinced that Moira Dingle is about to get her revenge on cheating husband Cain Dingle by having an affair

Emmerdale fans are abuzz with speculation about a potential scandalous affair involving Moira Dingle and a younger man in the village.

The soap’s stalwart, Moira (played by Natalie J. Robb), has been through the wringer lately, having been diagnosed with a brain tumour last year after a series of unexplained seizures and odd behaviour. Post-surgery in November, unbeknownst to her, her husband Cain (Jeff Hordley) had a tryst with his sister-in-law Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly).

The guilt-ridden pair struggled with their secret, which, in true soap opera style, was dramatically revealed last week. Ruby’s spouse and Cain’s brother, Caleb (William Ash), discovered the affair and publicly outed Cain to the Dingle family.

A confession followed, leaving Moira devastated. Despite her heartbreak, Moira has put on a brave face, especially after the death of Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson), agreeing to keep up appearances for the sake of Amy’s son Kyle.

But fans know Moira for her fiery spirit and are now predicting that she will seek vengeance against Cain, reports Leicestershire Live. Online chatter suggests that viewers are expecting Moira to have an affair with a fresh face on the show as a form of “payback” for Cain’s betrayal.

Emmerdale is set to welcome a new bad boy, Kammy (Shebz Miah), who’s tipped to stir up trouble in the Dales. The character has been described as someone who will “ruffle a few feathers” and “causes a lot of mischief”.

With his arrival, speculation is rife among fans that Moira could be the one to fall for his charms. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan group, viewers have been placing their bets on Kammy’s romantic conquests.

One member commented: “Shall we take bets on who he goes to bed with first.” Another quickly responded: “I’ll go for Moira, as her payback to Cain, and so the cycle begins again.” Echoing the sentiment, a third fan posted: “I thought exactly the same.” And yet another added fuel to the fire, saying: “Yes she definitely is going to get her revenge at some point.”
