Fans remember the flashforwards revealed at the start of the year and think another resident will die soon

Tensions are rising and fans fear more tragedy in the village as they recall spoilers shown at the start of the New Year.

In tonight’s Emmerdale, which can be viewed early on ITV X now or live at 7.30pm tonight, it is the vigil for Leyla, Suzie and Amy who all died in the limo crash on Valentine’s Day.

As villagers gather to pay their respects, there is still some suspicion of how Noah was spiked as he remains the one to blame for the incident. When he attends the vigil, Jacob spots him and tells him to leave after it was his fault the tragedy happened.

Charity is on the hunt to clear Noah’s name and asks Belle for help as they track down Noah’s friend, Rich, who they think spiked Belle’s drink which Noah drunk instead. The pair set a meeting up and gang up on him with questions about the night but he insists that he is innocent – which Belle thinks he is telling the truth. So the hunt continues for the pair to find the person responsible.

Meanwhile, Cain is still in the dog house with his family and wife Moira. However, Cain, Chas, Aaron, John and Ruby all come to a truce when Steph begins to get suspicious of the group as she tells them she will find out what they are hiding.

They all agree to trust each other to ‘stick to the plan’ – even after Caleb’s blackmail to Aaron is revealed. Cain threatens Caleb that he will ‘end him’ if he betrays them and fans think that this is foreshadowing Caleb in hospital.
