Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ second dead body in lake – and it’s a female Dales legend

A beloved Emmerdale character is the second dead body in the lake, according to fans

Emmerdale fans are convinced there is another dead body in the lake – and it’s a Dales legend.

Over on the Dales recently, 17 lives were left hanging in the balance after two limos, driven by Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Caleb Miligan (William Ash) ended up crashing – with the ladies’ limo plunging into an icy lake.

In a tragic turn of events, the crash resulted in the death of Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) who hit her head on the roof of the vehicle, and later on Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) who died from “severe blood loss” after being impaled from the glass during the accident.

The rest of the ladies managed to make it out of the limo – but things took a dramatic turn when Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) fell into the lake.

Under the ice, she was terrified after catching a glimpse of another body submerged beneath the surface. The mystery hand had a bracelet on, similar to one that Amy was also wearing.

Amy managed to get out of the lake and in hospital she attempted to mention the body to her family – but sadly she died from hypothermia. The lake was then dredged and the limo was pulled out – but so far the mystery body is still yet to be discovered.

But now, in what would be a game-changing twist, fans reckon there is another body in the lake that police are yet to discover. What’s more, viewers are convinced they know its true identity.

Sharing their thoughts online, they claim it could be Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) who recently left the village after six years.

“Had another thought. This could be Ella who killed Bob’s girlfriend Wendy! That’s who could be under the ice maybe?” mused one person on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, thinking Ella Forster (Paula Lane) had murdered her.

Other viewers agreed as a second person wrote: “You could be onto something! Apparently there are 2 bodies in the lake.” A third penned: “Still not convinced it’s Nate in the lake. Oh what the heck they throwing a red herring to throw us all off. It’ll be Wendy you watch.”
