Hollyoaks has confirmed a major threat to Rex Gallagher’s criminal activity in upcoming scenes.
The soap recently announced a harrowing new storyline that will see Dillon Ray and Frankie Osborne be groomed by a criminal gang, with the storyline aiming to highlight the two most common forms of exploitation for teenagers in the UK.
The pair will be be lured into a dangerous world that is difficult to escape from, eventually being asked to deal drugs on behalf of Rex and being sexually exploited by the gang.

Mysterious character Kat Omari recently struck up a friendship with Frankie in order to recruit her for Rex as part of the shocking storyline, while Rex has been trying to isolate Dillon from his family and recently offered him the chance to live in James’ old place rent free.
However, Rex has begun storing things in the house and has started getting Dillon into drugs.
In scenes that will air next week, Frankie becomes fed up after the drama with Darren and Kat, who she wrongly believes have slept together.
Frankie tells Nancy and Darren that she is moving in with Dillon, who has also asked Lucas to move in.
After the new housemates host a party together and start clearing up, Lucas finds a spice vape. He confronts Dillon and Frankie, who admit to using it.
Rex soon storms in and tells the teenagers that he needs to store some more bags in the house.
When Dillon questions him, Rex snaps and says it can considered rent for letting them live there for free.
Lucas is shocked to discover that Rex owns the place and calls the police to tell them that Rex is storing stolen goods. How will Rex react? And has Lucas just put himself in danger?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
