Coronation Street fans think they have spotted a ‘blunder’ from Sally Metcalfe while fans also admitted they are ‘worried’ as they ‘worked out’ a future storyline.
The iconic character, played by actress Sally Dynevor, has recently spent time in the hospital visiting her various friends who have found themselves struggling with ill health.
Kevin Webster supported by his ex-wife Sally earlier this month as he received news about his cancer. Last month, the Weatherfield mechanic went to the doctor after finding a lump. They later confirmed that Kevin has testicular cancer.
At the time, the mechanic didn’t want to worry his wife, Abi, who is currently dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) which was triggered by finding teenager Mason Radcliffe bleeding to death after he was involved in a horror attack at the hands of his own brothers.
Sally instead went with him to his appointment at the hospital after she insisted he shouldn’t go alone. She was then seen visiting him following his operation to remove the testicle in scenes aired on Wednesday nigh (February 19) before also seeing Carla Connor who is not only recovering from a kidney transplant but also being kidnapped in a ploy by her brother – and kidney donor – Rob Donovan.
And it was Sally’s visit to her Underworld factory boss that got viewers wondering if their was a mistake. @DavidJosephLaw2 asked: “Isn’t Carla in a private hospital? Why is Sally acting she’s just popped corridor form Kevin. #Corrie.”

Meanwhile, Sally’s visit to see Kevin got tongues wagging for a different reason. @LisasCrisps commented: “Why am I worried Sally and Kev are gonna have an affair PLEASE DON’T DO IT! #Corrie.” @ADADAPPADAN added: “‘This’ better not lead to, Sally & Kev, having it off, or sumat… #Corrie.”
