Emmerdale fans offered their theory of romance during an airing of Thursday evening’s one-hour edition

Emmerdale fans are convinced a show newcomer will be ‘married in six months’.

This comes while viewers have been watching the hour-long Thursday edition of Emmerdale. This evening viewers saw Belle, fresh from starting divorce proceedings against abusive ex-partner Tom, meet her friends for a drink.

There, Jacob’s new pal Rich tried his moves on Belle. She quickly sent him packing although Emmerdale viewers on X believe romance could still blossom.

One fan @dondons100 said: “The new bloke and Belle will be married in six months. #emmerdale.” Another viewer @Emmerdale2ws8 added: Belle and Jacob’s mate will obviously get together.”

While, it is fair to say, some other Emmerdale viewers weren’t particularly keen to see them get together. One fan @mikepriestley13 said: “Belle don’t go there with that d**khead… #Emmerdale.”

Another viewer @BSupport73 added: “Did that new guy who’s talking to Belle spike Noah’s drink? #Emmerdale.”

Elsewhere, during Thursday’s edition of Emmerdale, Cain was arrested in connection with Anthony’s disappearance. As Cain was arrested, Anthony’s granddaughter Steph shouted: “Where is he? You know, don’t you.”

Later, viewers saw a confrontation between Aaron and Caleb. As the latter tried to set up half-brother Cain for Anthony’s murder.

Liam has also planned a shock proposal for Chas at the limo raffle. This comes ahead of a major stunt where fans know at least one villager dies.

On Thursday, Leyla confronted Jacob about the cocaine he found which turned out to be Rich. Jacob snapped: “Just because you are weak and easily led, so am I?”
